Inspire Yourself

Hi Everyone.. Be Inspired today… After reading my blog, Read my Favorite book!

This morning I set a goal of walking 5 miles with some fabulous women. I was actually late getting to the Park. When I arrived they had already walked 3 miles. So I joined the group and when they reached the goal of 5 miles, I had only completed 2.5 miles. I was very tempted to get in my car and leave as they were leaving, but I stayed to finish the goal I had set for the morning.  So I kept stepping. Alone, but I kept stepping. Before I knew it I had reached 5.63 miles. So I began to walk towards my car and I thought why not challenge myself and keep going for  6 miles. I was tired, drained, sweating and hot, but I gathered up more strength and I kept going. Before long I reached my “inspired” goal of 6 miles. What an accomplishment for me. I began to cheer myself.

Then right in the midst of me cheering myself, God began to speak to me and He reminded me that I am created in His image and His likeness and therefore, nothing could possibly be out of my reach. He began to inspire me to always cheer myself, because I am His child. I am greater because He lives inside of me.

There may be goals you have set that you fell short of reaching. I want to remind you to “Inspire Yourself”. Remind yourself that even though you are not there yet, you will get there. You may have to cry, but get up and “Inspire Yourself”. You may have haters around you, but get up and “Inspire Yourself”.

You are greater than the challenges you are facing. As a matter of fact, you are more than a conqueror. Your future looks bright. Your challenges are a mere step for you to step on. Go ahead today and “Inspire Yourself”. You deserve it!!
