Facing Undone Places

There is an astounding revelation that many of us have undone places hidden deep within that we are not dealing with. We have just dug a hole in our heart and covered these places up.  Most of the things we have not resolved play a major role in our day to day actions and we see the results in how we treat others and the lack of quality respect we give ourselves.

If you acknowledge that you have undone places within does this make you vulnerable? Does it show weakness within you? What does it reveal about you? How can you now face those areas in your life that you simply walked away from and left undone?

Those places that you have just overlooked for so long will become places of safety for you. Those areas of hurt, pain, and struggle will become your pillow and blanket. Those areas you no longer talk about will become very sensitive areas of concern. The thought of digging up days or weeks or years of unfinished feelings will become too overwhelming and too stressful. So you sink back in the same hole you peeked out of.

It’s time to face what you have not finished…..  Walter Anderson said, “Bad things do happen; how I respond to them defines my character and the quality of my life. I can choose to sit in perpetual sadness, immobilized by the gravity of my loss, or I can choose to rise from the pain and treasure the most precious gift I have – life itself”.

Let’s talk about facing those undone places…
