Reflections of The Passover

A Reminder of how unique and sacred today is. Today is the day that God made the ultimate sacrifice for you. Today is the day that Jesus went beyond imagination to show His love for you. This is the day that time stopped to recognize the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. This is the day that you gained free access to the throne of Grace.

The Old Testament gives us The Passover, when lambs were sacrificed for God’s people. The New Testament gives us The Crucifixion, where Jesus became the lamb that was sacrificed for you and me.

Today should remind you that You were not a mistake. You were not a one night stand result. Genesis 1 says, that you were created in His(God) image and after His likeness. Psalms 139 says, you were fearfully and wonderfully made. After God completed His creations and after He formed man, He (God) looked at it all and said, “It is good”.

You are the very heartbeat of God Almighty. Your mere existence pleases Him. As Jesus hung on the cross bleeding after being tortured all night, He thought you were worthy it all. So you see your life is worth living, becuse Jesus took every concern, every issue, every obstacle you could ever face with Him to The Cross.

Let these reflections of The Passover on this most sacred, sacrificial day bring you to a heart filled with humilty and thanksgiving.

You were WORTH DYING FOR and Jesus gave His life so you would know this.
