The Threat Is Real

The threat is real. What threat you ask? It’s the threat of the enemy to steal, kill and destroy. He has launched an attack to ca use devastation and chaos in your life. He wants us distracted by his tactics so much so that we will become overwhelmed, frustrated, fearful and to lose hope.  THE THREAT IS REAL!!

What we can not afford to do is to lose sight of the Almighty God and the fact that He and ONLY He is in control.

Lately, I’ve been singing and focusing on the childhood song “He’s Got The Whole World In His Hand.” This song, though taught as a young child’s song, is now so very real. We are facing something so beyond scientists control. We are seeing people losing hope at a record number. We are daily seeing fear cripple people like never before. Anxiety has smothered the view of the bright Sun shining each day. But what we all need is to focus on the fact, and it us a fact, that God is holding this entire world in the palm of His hand. He’s holding you and me in his hand. He is still God and He is still in control.

Yes the threat is real that we face, but when we can’t see God, when we can’t hear God and even when we can’t sense His Presence remember what Solomon said in Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths”.  When we trust in God, His Words become alive to us and gives us hope.

Hope, a big bowl of HOPE that’s what this world is in need of. Hope for our country. Hope for our state. Hope for our cities. Hope for our families. Hope for our Leaders. Hope for ourselves.. WE NEED HOPE.  Our ONLY option for Hope is trusting in God. He promised to never leave us, nor forsake us. We Must BELIEVE this without wavering.

Listen at God’s Words to each of us in Isaiah 41:13, “For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.”  Also the words of I Corinthians 15:57, “But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. There’s our Hope! Right there!! Our Big Bowl of Hope… Hold on to it.. Thank You, Father..
