She is a counselor, motivational speaker, personal development coach, instructor, invigorator, researcher, writer, business manager and mostly a woman after God’s own heart.
CeCe Grayson, PhD
Born in Thomasville, Alabama. Resides in Selma, Alabama. Among her many accomplishments she has a Doctorate of Philosophy with emphasis in Transformational Leadership and Coaching from Minnesota Graduate School of Theology, Master’s Degree in Specialized Counseling from Capella University and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Pastoral Counseling from Minnesota Graduate School of Theology.
She served Dallas County Juvenile Courts as a CASA Representative and 23 years as College Registrar for Concordia College Selma. In addition, she has received numerous awards and certifications. In 2013, she and her husband were nominated for the Black Essence Award for their extraordinary contribution to their community. In October of that year, they traveled to South Bend, Indiana for the ceremony to receive their award.
She is the Pastor’s wife of Gospel Tabernacle COGIC in Selma, AL and Faith Temple COGIC Pine Apple, AL. She has served in several capacities as an exemplary leader and a model of a virtuous woman. Dr. Grayson lends her service and talent in many areas. She has an anointing upon her life to minister the life changing word of God.
She is a devoted intercessor that constantly seeks the face and heart of God. Her grace and compassion makes her delivery of the Word of God powerful and effective. Building the kingdom of God through ministries is a top priority for Dr. Grayson and she wears each hat with dignity and grace. Dr. Grayson feels that her most important duty to God is being a faithful wife to her husband, Pastor John E. Grayson(for nearly 40 years), mother to their children (Christopher, Xavier, Kiyani and grandmother to Jameria and Madison).
